Hi there,

I am trying to use Add Web Reference in VS 2008
With this URL
https://staging.common.virtualearth.net/find-30/common.asmx

I add and click GO
Then a message pops up and I am supposed to enter the account ID
That I find on the Account Details in Maps Account Center
and I enter the password for my Live Id...

Well this does not work, it does not authenticate.... So I can't get the
proxies...

What do I do??? I am doing something wrong?

The login/password is actually different from your windows live ID login.
For example its something like:

1234567/PasSw0rd!

To find it out, login to
https://mappoint-css.live.com/CscV3/Css.aspx
using your windows live ID

then go to "Verify Credentials" on the left hand side. The 6/7 digit login
is there, then the password you will need to have memorized. Otherwise the
password is lost and you will need to contact your microsoft representative
if you have production access. If its just a staging (evaluation) account
then its pretty much lost and you should request a new one.

Thanks a lot apparently I did create a password a long time ago, and I can't
remember, so I requested a reset.
