Is it possible to do a partial upload of data w/ Customer Web Serv

I have tried to do a partial upload using the Customer Services Portal
(https://mappoint-css.live.com/CscV3/Css.aspx)

Here are the results of a quick 'experiment' I have done.

1) I created a new data source and uploaded to it a file with 10 entities by
using the Customer Services Portal
(https://mappoint-css.live.com/CscV3/Css.aspx)

2) Then, I verified that all the 10 rows of data existed.

3) After that I modified the input data source file and removed all but the
1st row of data. Changed some columns (but not the entity ID) of this one row
and then uploaded the file to the same data source again.

4) Then, I clicked the 'Replace' button to continue with the upload and this
has as I expected caused the data source to contain only one record. What I
am looking for is a way to do a partial update of the data - in this case the
one row from the 2nd upload - and leave the rest of the rows (9 rows)
untouched.

With regards to the 'partial upload', Is it going to be the same case with
using the Customer Data Service too? Or is there an operation on teh service
that allows partial updates of the data source rows?

I'd be surprised if the answer is in the negative but here's the question :)
But I did not find any info on this in MSDN.

Is it possible to upload only a subset of the map point data into the data
source using the Customer Data Service?
(We have thousands of entities in a data source and only a few of them
change or a few need to be added on a periodic basis.)

I'd have tried it myself already with our test data to see what the answer
is but I haven't received the mappoint credentials/account information yet.
So while I'm waiting for access, I am posting this.
