UK Local Authorities and Super Output Areas

Hello,

I am trying to find a way to work out which Local Authority an address is in
in the UK.

From searching the internet, there appears to be data published by the
Office of National Statistics that holds this data.

So, does anyone know if there is a way of uploading this into MapPoint WS
please?

Would it be uploaded as a custom data source? And then should I be able to
ask "What Local Authority is XXX address in?"

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Trevor,

I looked over the data, and I don't see any address information that MWS can
make sense of. You'll need to find more accurate data that contains a
street/city combination in order for MWS to understand it. Once you have
that, you can send it up to the Customer Service Site via a batch upload
(.csv file) and download the results back to process in your application.
