Hi, I have the same problem commented on:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.mappoint.webservice&tid=270e1897-5db4-4c31-b7eb-be6bdf1bc29f&cat=&lang=en&cr=US&sloc=&p=1

Does anyone know what happens?

Dear Jonathan Ng
I have the same problem too. The problem began on last october 15th. Today
persists, is impossible to calculate any routes (lat, lon on Spain).

Are there any deprecated functions from SDK v.1?
The server is active or is off-line for technical issues?

Thanks a lot in advance

Dear Jonathan Ng and other Ms MapPoint team members

I can confirm (after several tests) this:

The system works OK if locations are on:
- USA, China, or Brasil
The systems dont works if locations are for example on:
- Spain, UK, France, Germany, Mexico

I dont tested all countries on the world, but I suspect that the error is on
Ms MapPoint international servers, and not in our source code, user/psw login
or something like that.

Please, Can you confirm this?

Where is the problem of MapPoint web service?

Thanks a lot in advance, and best regards from Spain.

This is becoming ridiculous! Why, again, are we paying for this? This hasn't
worked for days now. Nobody knows anything about this. Are they fixing it?
Did they change it? We don't know! There's no way to talk to the people
responsible for this bag of fail without shelling out even more money.

Minsk, Belarus to Warsaw, Poland -- Ok
Minsk, Belarus to Berlin, Germany -- Ok
Minsk, Belarus to Amsterdam, Netherlands -- Ok
Warsaw, Poland to Berlin, Germany -- Error
Warsaw, Poland to Amsterdam, Netherlands -- Error

Ankara, Turkey to Amsterdam, Netherlands -- Ok
Sofia, Bulgaria to Amsterdam, Netherlands -- Error
Amsterdam, Netherlands to Ankara, Turkey -- Ok
Amsterdam, Netherlands to Sofia, Bulgaria -- Error

So as long as one of the two points is not in Europe, seemingly the World
dataset is used and the route calculation works. If the dataset is EU, it
doesn't work.
