Hi everyone,

I registered for the MapPoint web service developer account, and the method
that I'm using is CalculateRoute. The winform application that I've built
allow the users to enter a source and a destination address, then it converts
them to lat and long, and uses CalculateRoute to get the route distance
between the two addresses. I have been trying to tweak it, so that the route
and the distance that I'm getting could match the one from live search maps.
However, I cannot get my result to match live search maps.

I'm wondering if there is anyway to make it so that the result I'm getting
from the web service could match the one I'm getting from live search maps.

Thanks,
Ernest

Ernest,

I believe that maps.live.com uses their own geocoding engine, as I've never
been able to match them exactly either.
